EU Projects
The Roma Adult Education Centre Burgenland is actively engaged in European cooperation projects to promote educational equity, social participation, and the sustainable inclusion of Roma communities across Europe.
At the heart of this commitment lies the development of innovative educational programs that foster intercultural exchange, open up new perspectives, and provide training for educators and multipliers in the field of inclusive education. In this way, valuable spaces for shared learning, encounter, and the acquisition of future-oriented skills are created.
A particular focus is placed on collaboration with Roma-led organizations throughout Europe. This transnational dialogue strengthens the exchange of good practices, the building of sustainable networks, and the joint development of strategies to improve educational opportunities and make the lived realities of Roma communities more visible.
These international partnerships give rise to innovative approaches that promote self-determination and identity—making effective contributions to combating discrimination, stigmatization, and structural disadvantages both in education and in broader society.
This commitment is supported by projects co-funded through various European programs, including Erasmus+, CERV and Interreg.

TC "Think cOOl, think grEEn"
The training course "Think cOOl, think grEEn" (KA153-YOU-000175006) in Șuncuiuș (Romania) in August 2024 aimed to raise awareness of the ecological issues we all are facing in our communities and inform and equip the 20 youth Workers and stakeholders with new green tools to use in youth work, education and organization work. A set of 25 metaphoric "Green cards" was created during the project containing views, collage art and opinions of the participants and aims to be used in youth activities and a starting point for "green" debates and discussions and are available for download here.
